I’m so angry at Rex right now. Let me explain.
Qantas is launching 7 new routes that Rex currently operates. Like all the other times Qantas has launched new regional routes, Rex angers.
It is again accusing Qantas of “competing at fishy prices” so Rex can get “weakened”
Rex even wants to take Qantas to court?
But the Rex idiots are also “competing on fishy prices” on the Golden Triangle on its 737 new Sydney-Melbourne route. Rex are competing with Qantas full service at bargain prices and they also want flights launched to Canberra, Perth, Hobart, Adelaide and the Gold Coast too.
Qantas has never accused Rex for any of this.
You can’t have it both ways, Rex.
I think John Sharp and his entire D-grade business team need to go back to business school and learn. He can’t have his la la utopia land where Rex is the monopoly in every regional Australian route.
Rex has extensive cash-backing from the federal government, and is more advantaged financially. Since Rex’s chairman John Sharp is an ex-National Party MP, he benefits even more in the form of big political donations to Rex from the party and Rex has Current Deputy PM Michael McCormack’s personal financial backing too. So there’s that.
Rex wants utopia where John Sharp is the richest man in Australia and Rex flies every regional route at a very low standard without any competition. (Rex was terrible on the Wagga-Melbourne route - I’ve flown them)
Boycott this airline who is backed with millions and millions of dollars in their pockets from the federal government, political parties, politicians and other wealthy regional Australians and cries every time competitors comes in. Rex are the real business bullies. Rex are jealous of Qantas so they try to do everything they can to bring down Qantas, most of the time making false claims.
I look forward to flying with Qantas on their new Melbourne-Wagga Wagga route.
Hi Guest, join in the discussion on
Rex is being complete babies and bullies at the same time. Boycott this money-packed airline Rex who wants one thing their way and another their way too.
