Etihad steps up to daily flights for Johannesburg

Etihad Airways will begin daily flights between Abu Dhabi and Johannesburg from October 26, 2014, with a revised timetable geared to better connections at either end.

The revised schedule opens up "a significant increase in connections between Johannesburg and a number of key Asian business and leisure destinations," Etihad claims, including Chengdu, Singapore and Phuket. 

“The new schedule means that we are now able to provide daily departures, ensuring that our business and leisure travellers benefit from greater connectivity and flexibility when flying between South Africa and the UAE" said Xenia Adamou, Etihad Airways’ General Manager for South Africa.

 The new Johannesburg schedule, effective Sunday, 26 October 2014 will be as follows:
