Sneak peek: are these Google's new Android smartwatches?

Google and LG are reportedly set to release two new smartwatches in a partnership which could play same card as Google's Pixel (and before that, Nexus) smartphone brand.

These first photos of the devices reveal a simple rounded face with a 'digital crown' on the right side of the bezel, with OLED displays in a 3cm diameter for the LG Style and 3.5cm for the LG Sport.

Both would be flagship models to debut the Android Wear 2.0 platform, which is expected to be launched on February 9.

The LG Sport model is rumoured to go beyond the standard Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity of the smaller Style watch to include cellular connectivity as well as a GPS and NFC radio with support for Android Pay.
