I have just over 2 million IHG points. Is this VA offer for me or, does anyone have a better idea to convert them. I hardly ever use AU internal airfares, being resident in Asia.

Depends where you are landing. Rubbish in China/Hong Kong. Having landed at these 2 areas more then 30 times in the last year. It's very much a miss for me. On NZ,QF,SQ,TG,GA. I don't think it is an airline problem.
