Air Canada launches direct Melbourne Vancouver Boeing 787 flights
May 04, 2017, 07:11 PMI think they're certain this route will become a regular, they seem to be just playing it conservative just in case things don't go they way they wanted to.

First look: Microsoft Surface Laptop with Windows 10 S
May 03, 2017, 03:57 PMLooks great and pricing is great too compared with Apple's ridiculous $2700 for the Touch Bar, although MS charges their own premium over other computer brands.

QF making PER the "new" Dubai is nice so-to-speak but I wish they maybe order a Y-heavy 787 config. to tackle routes to India where demand is only likely to get higher and there's no real competition in the direct market. DEL might be tough given AI can afford to price lower although I believe BO...

Hopefully QF can do a route there, a great place to visit, would be a real shame if there's no demand to go there.

The 787 from LHR-PER-MEL-LAX will be the same plane but QF9 will terminate in MEL and then assume the QF93 number to LAX. The same could be said for this service.

The next Qantas Boeing 787 routes
May 01, 2017, 04:47 PMCorrect me if I'm wrong but I believe AJ said that they're looking for the 787 to fly to Seoul, Beijing and Delhi. PEK already exists so I think they might upgrade it although I think they'll only start focusing on Asia once they're done with their European and U.S. ambitions.

Any App Suggestions for Travellers?
Apr 19, 2017, 12:48 PMIf you are interested in knowing exactly where you are when you are flying then I recommend using MotionX GPS available for iOS at $3.00. I am yet to try it myself in flight but from what I've heard it works on all planes except the 787 due to the iron content in the windows.

Use of downvotes on Ausbt
Apr 19, 2017, 12:44 PMI've also noticed increased downvoting on all comments even if they are not controversial, it's probably just a few trolls.

Gordon Ramsay says "There's no f*cking way I eat on planes!"
Apr 03, 2017, 02:16 PMSure airplane food might not be as good as you'd like, but then again just being able to eat at 40,000 feet above the clouds is something that holds onto its ownI think he was just exaggerating it tbh
