Welcome to the new Australian Business Traveller

Welcome to the new Australian Business Traveller

It's been almost six years since we launched Australian Business Traveller (our actual birthday is November 1 – feel free to send us a card and some cake).

Plenty has changed in those six years, which means a change to our website is long overdue.

So, welcome to the new AusBT – which we've built on a custom platform we call ABT2 (pretty creative, eh?).

Here's what you need to know.

A mobile-friendly 'responsive design’ automagically scales the site and its contents to fit onto a smartphone or tablet screen.

The revamped home page puts more of our great content right where you can find it.

We've also added a new community where readers can discuss airlines and frequent flyer programs, seek out and swap travel tips, get and give advice on destinations, and much more.

A Facebook-style AusBT live feed at the left side of the screen keeps you in touch with the latest articles, comments and community discussions.

You'll also see some fresh content on areas beyond our 'core' of business travel – such as technology, motoring, watches and spirits. This reflects the broader range of reader's interests as revealed in our annual reader survey.

And while the new AusBT website represents a big change – and one we think you'll enjoy – there'll be many small changes to follow, based on your own feedback and suggestions.

Click through to our community feedback page to report bugs (and there are bound to be some!), suggest improvements or request new features. We'll take it all on board.

We're proud to be Australia's leading website for business travellers and frequent flyers – to be the voice of the Australian business traveller – and to now rank as Australia's largest independent travel website, attracting over 730,000 visitors every month.

Our new website is just the start. We've got a lot more planned, and we're glad to have you along for the ride.
