Does anyone know any more about QF restart of SYD-SFO? We had flights on October 13, and now have just had a schedule change to LAX.
I looked for the whole week and no SFO flights. Has SFO demand plummeted that badly? I guess so many tech companies have gone fully remote, so the demand may just not be there any longer...
This is all to do with the US federal aviation authority not certifying 787s not yet delivered to be able to fly. This has been going on for some time due to a whole lot of quality issues. Qantas has three 787s ready to be delivered. Other airlines have many more not least American Airlines which has cut services to Australia for the same reason.

Demand must not be too bad. UA announced BNESFO. Could be a case of Qantas not being match fit.
