The LAX Business lounge is a jointly owned lounge, but the first class lounge is a qantas lounge, not jointly owned as far as I am aware.

Would be ok for airlines like Emirates at Dubai when you go straight from lounge to plane, but walking past a starbucks on your way to the jetbridge... not for me thanks.

For anyone on the delayed service out of the Uk you can claim compensation if your flight arrives more than 3hrs delayed!! Don't forget to claim!

If you are on the same ticket, then they should be checked all the way through. If you are on separate tickets, ask at the counter if they will, but likely that they will not check bags all the way through.
