Has anyone recently been to LAX (out of BNE or other ports) that arrive in the evening? If so, how are the immigration wait times like for the automated passport machines (last time it was abysmally down for maintenance!) and it took me 3hrs to clear immigration.
I went through LAX immigration on July 13 and waited 2.5 hours. A friend had the same experience one week later (both evening arrivals). The automated passport gates seem to just be for Global Entry these days. Everyone else has to line up for manual processing.
Same here, 2.5hrs on July 1. Only exciting part was hearing staff who were meant to finish at x time, were told via loud speaker they were to stay until advised otherwise.
