Any ideas on avoiding the 3% commission fee on cash withdrawals now introduced by 28 degrees card? any other accounts available that do not charge this and still have a reasonable FX conversion rate. 28 degrees was really good but now I am looking for a replacement

I've signed up for the Citibank Plus account and am going to give that a shot.
- No account fees
- No ATM fees at Citibank ATMs or a partner. In Australia that means, Westpac, St George, Bank SA and Bank of Melbourne. In the US, there are 30,000 Citibank ATMs so I think getting access to money fee free won't be too hard.
- No currency conversion fee. Just the bank rate of exchange.
- No minimum deposit.
They provide a Visa Debit card. Their internet banking is pretty rubbish though.

On the Credit Card side, the BankWest Zero Platinum card is offering no intl exchange fees or loss on conversion, but don't think that applies to cash advance. Could be a good duo of cards though.
