I flew J from AUH-SYD last January and was pleased. Plenty of room, comfortable seat and good food selection.

Etihad offer a great J product out of Melbourne. Even their older product is a flat bed yet the newer fit out feels roomier and fresher. The chauffer service to the departure airport and destination is truely a great start to the journey. Lounge at Melb was Air NZ but a new Etihad Lounge is on the books. The transit lounge at Abu Dhabi is busy but if you are Virgin Platinum you will receive access to First Class Lounge. I'd advise the transit Meet and Greet service as it means faster transportation to the lounge, first in the queue for those well earned massages and showers after the 14 hr journey. Back on board, the comfy seat and excellent food/ drinks service makes for a great journey. You can dine at anytime and I have found the staff at all times very willing to offer the best service possible.
