What's the difference, if any, between the Domestic Qantas Club Lounge and Business Class lounge at Melbourne Airport?

The Business Class lounges are more spacious, offer a better quality food/drink service and are generally a lot quieter than the Qantas Clubs. The seats tend to be a bit more spread out, and the spaces are divided up a bit more (so feel a bit more intimate). The lounge is smaller, so feels more exclusive (this is especially obvious in MEL, where the Qantas Club is quite vast - not as bad in SYD where the Club is divided up a bit more).

Yeah, BIG difference. Some frequent flyers call the Qantas Club "the Qantas Pub" because it's pretty packed, noisy and low-rent. The Business Lounges are a massive improvement, even though they also get a bit busy around peak times it's still quieter and better laid out. Food is much better, check out their breakfast options at http://www.ausbt.com.au/qantas-vs-virgin-australia-battle-of-the-business-lounge-breakfasts. Qantas says the business lounges are really as much for Platinums as for business class travellers!
