Actually it is more like $13500. Qantas charge pretty much the same, but indeed with Singapore suites it is no brainier.

Go to first class travel .com.au they are great for business and first class fares from $5600 or better ! To Europe ,hope this helps and good luck.
Merc, it is not the point where to find cheaper deals. Point is that Qantas went mad if they reckon that 9.5k to LHR is something “special”.

Sorry serge ,you did say you had to buy two tickets (companion) so I was try to help .
I referred to “companion special” from QF when you have to buy two tickets to get “special” price – i.e. single ticket will cost more. I do not need to buy anything right now – just get amused after receiving promotional in email from Qantas
