A330 - 200 on QF81/82? Im booking flights to Singapore in October and I noticed the change in aircraft on the 3 times weekly ADL-SIN service. At the same time I noticed an A330 - 200 on the PER-SIN service. Am I right in assuming that the A330 - 200s in Int. configuration that are currently on the AKL-LAX and the occasional SYD-PER services? So where have the A330 - 300s gone? MEL - HKG and SYD-BKK?

You can find out which routes the A330-300's are deployed on (and the rest of the Qantas fleet)

http://www.theqantassource.com/a333.html

Just click on the drop down tab menu to select the individual aircraft.

No, currently QF81/82, ADL-SIN, SIN-ADL uses a Qantas A330-300. You can check what aircraft type any Qantas/ Alliance flight uses by going to qantas.com and filling in the details on booking a flight section. Then when the flight results come up, scroll to the appropriate flight and click the flight number. This will launch a pop up box that will state what aircraft does that flight. Hope it helped. :)

CL9 your right that currently QF81/82 use the A330 but in october, at least, the schedule is showing A330 - 200s. Hopefully theqantassource.com updates at some point in the future to show any changes.  From all the recent news about route changes you can gather enough to assume that the A330-300s that were on ADL - SIN and PER - SIN are moving to MEL - HKG and later down the line SYD - BKK, but if anyone has seen anything different, let me know!
