Baggage drop Qantas International in Melbourne. Can anyone advise if you can drop baggage 5 hours before the flight if you have checked in online? Qantas advise airport checking opens 3 hours before flight.
Thanks for your help. It's strange that the chauffeur drive collects so much earlier and you can check in 24 hours before but can not drop luggage. I thought after they trialled all day bag drops in Sydney it may have improved.

It is 3 hours before. I think there is a bit longer time for A380 services.

Crazy isn't it? And the luggage holding service is not the cheapest either.
