I am planning to do an international to domestic transfer at LAX (2 separate tickets). Arriving with Virgin Australia (DL coded) and flying out with Virgin America to JFK. Is allowing only 1hour 55mins cutting it fine? Thanks.

Look at using an air port concierge service and ask them if it's enough time with a fast track service . I use them in Heathrow ,Newyork,and Hong Kong.it really does cut time in half or more .
