Hi all,

I'm flying return Melbourne-JFK via LAX later this year on United in BusinessFirst.

Both flights through LAX leave from terminal 7, and the united club there indicates that it doesn't have any showers.

Does anyone know whether it is actually possible to access either the TBIT star alliance lounge or any other Star Alliance lounge in another terminal which has a shower whilst connecting? Time isn't a great issue.

Thanks

Nick20 the only way you can access the TBIT lounge or any other terminal lounge at LAX is to retain a boarding pass for a flight departing that day.As you are connecting on UA you are out of luck.Depending on your schedual and time between flights you may want to consider a day room at one of the many airport hotels on Centuary Bvd.Note all have complimantary shuttles evey 15 min,s and are just some 10 min,s away.To this Nick you will have to clear immigration, get to the hotel and back at least an hour before your flight. In closing this will take about  3 hours, excluding time at the hotel..so if you have say 5 hours plus it would be up to you.
