Does anyone know if the lounge staff are allowed to tune the televisions in the lounge to the ABC?
I'm sat here, brain rotting away with Sky News blaring in the background broadcasting the usual evening talk show trash and celebrity come dancing on another channel.
I've asked them to change but the best they can do is lower the volume of celebrity come dancing.... Or is it dancing with the stars? I never know with these trashy shows.
I rather think you need a drink, TRB. I certainly would - and have the lounge staffers explicitly stated that they cannot change to proper programming?
I've managed to have it changed from Eddie's Hot Seat or whatever it is to a Super Rugby game last winter much to the disgust of one person in the lounge but the gratitude of literally everyone else.
As driley28 mentions I think you'll notice the news will be restricted to Sky News with all other content coming from Foxtel given their new arrangement.

They now gave an agreement with sky news and foxtel and maybe the cricket, so expect this in the lounges.
