Does anyone know roughly how much the airlines business partners (banks, supermarkets etc) pay per FF point that they purchase, and then give out as 'rewards'? I suspect the info is fairly tightly held for CIC reasons, but a ball park figure (esp for QF and EK) would help me.

It depends on the scale of the relationship but I believe for QFF it's about 1.5 - 2.5 cents per point.
