Things to do at SIN airport for 5 hours with 2 young kids?

We have a 5 hour layover in SIN flying J on sq from mel then out in J on AF to CDG. We will of course have lounge access I believe the skyteam lounge in T1 but don't really want to annoy the other guests for too long. What can I do with my kids at the airport ( they are too young to shop!). I had heard of a butterfly house and perhaps it would be worth booking the minimum stay at one of the airport hotels to access the pool?

There are some FREE bus tours that are available.  Not too sure how long nor what time you will be there. From memory, there is at least one quite nice childrens play area in one of the terminals.  5 Hours is not all that long. You will lose half an hour at the beginning actually getting off the plane etc. and another hour or so at the end getting back on.  Likely you will only have 3 hours toil.  Good luck, enjoy.  You will forget all about this and remember your great trip in months and years to come.

There are children's playgrounds in each terminal...

And free cinemas in T2 and T3...

The butterfly garden in T3...

But as readosunnycoast said, you really only have 3 hours or so to kill, you will be spoiled for choice and the family won't have time to get bored, enjoy!

Sorry, [deleted by admin - personal remark], but even when I traveled business I preferred to refresh myself in pool instead of sitting in lounge and mucking around with iPhone – [deleted by admin - personal remark].
