We use nexonia expense system that has an app you can use to take photos of receipts and attach them to expense items.
I went low tech on a few work trips recently. Got an envelope and at the end of each day i just pulled out all my receipts from my wallet and chucked them in there. Plastic sleeve works just as well if you have lots of them of irregular size.

My US employer uses Concur. The web and mobile versions are pretty good. Depends on the levels of authority/complexity you're after.
