Just a quick question, I know this topic has been done to death. But I will be flying from SIN - final destination LGW (via DXB) on EK 353 & EK 9 I've done this route before, in J but had 48 hour layovers in Dubai, so essentially been 2 * 7 hour flights. I have not received kits in the past but it has not worried me, as they are short flights. This time, I am doing it all on the same day, and in First Class. What are peoples thoughts, will I have to request amenity kits and pj's or will they be handed out. Both flights are day flights. As I'm essentially doing a 14 hour flight, I'd like something to get changed into thats comfortable. If they are not handed out, I'll just have to bring my own!
My Partner and I received amenity kits last week flying First Across the Tasman from Auckland to Sydney. We didn't ask, they were just waiting on our seats when we returned from having a quick drink in the bar (no Pj's though) I'm sure you could place a discreet request after being shown to your seat when you first board. I'd be surprised if there were no Kits at all on either plane, especially as they would likely have had to do an overnight leg to get to SIN. And maybe pack something just in case and have a quick shower when you wake up!
