Hi all, Quick one for the community. Travelling to San Francisco for work next Friday. Have to watch the grand final being a tragic Tigers (what a game it was to be at last night) I wanted to ask if anyone knew of a pub/venue that may be showing the game in San Francisco. I know there is always the AFL app but would be good if there was an Ozzie pub for some atmosphere. Tx, LTF
A pub called BuzzWorks apparently has a big thing going on. Tickets are $35 for a beer, meat pie and entry with details on their website. I've never been but a quick google search reveals their site and a link to buy tickets.
Google "Buzz Works San Francisco AFL" for the sites with tickets.
Brilliant stuff, thanks henrus and Grannular for the details. Il get onto that and grab a ticket. Scarf is packed and ready to go for the game. All i need to do now is try and stay awake all Friday after the early morning arrival into SFO.
In SF there is a party at Horizon and Score Bar on Broadway St. It's free with a drink special purchase and they're having a sausage sizzle and cheap drinks. Just search: san francisco beer olympics afl grand final 2018 to find it.
