I've been researching the topics here as I'm (a) ditching my CBA Diamond MC, and (b) considering downgrading my AMEX Platinum charge card. Primary reasons are the RBA changes making the CBA card uncompetitive and I expect reduced business travel over the next 1-2 years so can't justify the AMEX fee to the CFO.
My assessment criteria includes:
95% of my flights are with Qantas, so a high QFF earn is desirable
I don't need lounge passes as I'm QF platinum and fall back to LTG in the event I miss the status points target. And I have Priority Pass till 2019
I have no real bank loyalty
Paying an o/s transaction fee doesn't bother me
Will pay an annual fee if the card includes sufficient perks (such as comprehensive travel insurance, travel voucher etc)
I'm looking for a credit card and a charge card
Has anyone taken up any of the offers that Chris C publishes regularly? Any recommendations?

I'd wait for Chris's monthly publication.. I've heard rumours of a mindboggling spreadsheet that after ten years of working in the Credit Card space, would still blow my mind.
