Card-carrying Qantas Gold, Platinum, Platinum One and of course elite Chairman’s Lounge members will be able to visit any domestic Air New Zealand lounge before their flight – provided of course they’re booked on the Qantas codeshare version of that flight, which will carry a QF8xxx flight number.
Thanks. Bit of s shambles as you can't see easily on the website which are code share flights as only a few air NZ are. When I phoned QF premium services they don't really know

You actually have to be booked on the flight where your ticket has a QF flight number (i.e. issued by Qantas) - which you can typically only book as part of a QF Trans-Tasman itinerary.... much like you can't book a standalone domestic flight on AA in the US with a QF flight number...
If you book a NZ flight directly issued by NZ, it doesn't matter if that flight carries a codeshare with QF or not as you're not on that flight with a ticket that carries a QF flight number.

Even so, you can try your luck at the lounge - nothing lost.
