Hello, VH-VZL is trialling a software update which makes the crew screen and passengers screens on the 737 have the same look and feel as other aircraft such as A330/787. There is no change to the actual hardware, just the software. I am not aware of the reason behind the change, just that there will be the same look and feel as mentioned.

There are different screens used on the A330's. Are you referring to the newer A330-300 screens?

Are you talking the physical screen itself, or the actual interface itself?

Same look and feel would be the reason! Makes sense if it is easy to do.
