Can no longer book this flight from Australia in First on points for travel in 2020. (Although I did just that last year and it was wonderful.) It is the best of the choices because it arrives LHR early in the morning AND has the new First fit-out.

SIA Call Centre today confirmed that to be the case - that SQ322 was just not available for points redemption in First anymore "because it was such a popular flight". Furthermore they stated that the old First product on SQ308 A380 (the alternative for me) would likely not be refurbished to the newest hard product.

I wonder if that also has anything to do with geo-limiting points redemption as described elsewhere or it's just SIA unofficially saying "only if you're PPS" (which I'm not).

You're right that SQ322 doesn't seem to be bookable on points - but the new First Class was almost always rarely available on points (not impossible just very very hard). I did check and it seems SQ322 seems to have been taken off from bookings completely by points which is a shame.
