I am rapidly losing patience with posts not appearing on the new ET site.

Over an hour ago, I replied to the article regarding Virgin Snacks. I clicked on post and nothing appeared when I reviewed the article. There were no hyperlinks included in the post, so it did not require ADMIN review. I set about reconstructing the post and resubmitted it.

One hour later, the post has NOT appeared in the appropriate article. However, looking at my submitted posts (click on profile name, select 'posts' and the post appears as a posted item). Similarly, if I go to Community and look at the LIVE feed, the post is shown as valid. If I click on it, there is NO response.

It can clearly seen from the two screen captures (my profile) and from the LIVE scroll, that this post has been received. Why is it NOT displaying in the article?

I have had this happen on a number of previous occasions since the new site format was introduced on 29 July and also note that other members have reported disappearing posts or posts NEVER appearing.

Also, the attempt to append two screen captures in this post has failed. I will separately submit them below.

Apparently, appending .jpg file(s) to a post fails as well. The jpg files are 34k, 46k and 82k. Each was tried individually and as a group of three. All failed. I get a message box at the top of the screen (covering the main title bar of Home, News, Reviews, Expert Guides etc) that says "www.executivetraveller.com says" and an OK button. Not exactly useful !

Hi kimshep, we're aware of an issue whereby third-level comments are not appearing under articles and reviews (that is, when a reply is posted to a comment that was itself already a reply to another comment). This remains on the IT team's 'to fix' list.

In the meantime, posting completely 'new' comments, or comments that are a direct reply to an original top-level comment, should work as normal.

Attaching images to posts is a separate issue, so we'll raise this with IT. Thanks!

Chris, many thanks for the feedback on what is happening. At least we now understand.

The TWO separate posts that I lodged have now both appeared, however I note that there is now substantial duplication of multiple user posts throughout the entire thread discussion, which may require your intervention and deletion.
