QF Platinum Lounge in JNB: Newly renovated BA First (OWE) Lounge at JNB

After months of the appalling Sholongolo and Mashalongo lounges in JNB (I've had 4 trips since the BA lounge closed for renovations).... I was expecting to be back in the BA First / OWE lounge last night having beem lead to believe it was due to open 6-11-19. But when I departed last night, 7-11-19, it was closed. ARGH!!! (at least closed to Qantas OWE in J). I was given two different stories: one was “prep for official launch tomorrow” the other was “leaks in the plumbing”. (Both believable in SA.)

in any event, my question is simple: I go through JNB a lot but won't be back until the SA Christmas close down is over in mid-Jan. Could someone please post some pix and comments or do a review??? (I especially appreciate the showers once I arrive in JNB from further afeild so including those would be great!!! )
