I understand that Virgin Australia is going through a complete restructure, but is their current flight schedule, when compared to the Qantas Group, a surprise to anyone else? Looking at departures from Hobart tomorrow, the Qantas Group has 13 flights to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. Virgin Australia has just 1 flight - to Sydney. Has anyone else noticed this in other parts of the country?
I've definitely noticed it. I was in Sydney T2 on Saturday afternoon, catching a Virgin flight to Melbourne. Between Saturday afternoon, when I arrived, and Saturday night, the Departures board listed exactly one departing Virgin flight (my flight to Melbourne) and eight Jetstar flights.
