I signed up for the Virgin status match, I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about the outcome of these?
As a Qantas Platinum I'm looking forward to VA gold for:
1) Fly ahead on an earlier flight
2) Complementary Gold for my partner (after the status match period)
3) generally cheaper "last minute" fares compared to QF, where previously I would have gone for JQ tickets over VA for Lounge access.

Thought about it, but living in Townsville status with Virgin is about as as worthless as anything could possibly be.
