I have my status review & extension coming up end of this month. Very keen to visit my family in Singapore for a week and avail of the "Book a flight before your anniversary and retain your status offer".

I am confused about the entry rules, specifically because the sole Qantas flight to and from Singapore is not marked as "VTL". I registered with the "Safe Travel Concierge" app and tried to find out the procedure but I am not sure if I qualify for any of the categories. If I travel with Qantas, do I need to apply for a entry permit? I have not applied for one in the past (pre-Covid times) as I am Australian citizen.

Has anyone recently travelled by QF to Singapore and back? Could you please help share some insight into visiting Singapore for a short stay?

Many thanks!

All Qantas flights with Singapore as the final destination are VTL. Google Singapore Safe Travel. There is a Singapore Government guide on what you need to do. I was there a couple of weeks ago for a business trip. That was just before some easing of testing requirements. It was pretty full on with 8 Covid tests in total for a 5 day trip. I think its a lot easier now but seriously weigh up if the trip is worth the effort for the reason you mention. Something local may be a lot easier.
