Japan Airlines moves Sydney-Tokyo flights from Narita to Haneda
JAL keeps its Sydney-Tokyo schedule but shifts the Japan end of the flight to Haneda.

Japan Airlines will fly from Sydney to Tokyo's Haneda airport instead of the more distant Narita from March 2020, as part of a network overhaul which will see 34 international routes darting out from Haneda in response to the allocation of new daytime slots at the airport.
The Oneworld member and Qantas partner has long favoured Narita for its Sydney service, but that changes as of March 29, 2020.
The current JL771/JL772 flights will be replaced by a new daily JL51/JL52 service, still on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, and with almost identical timing.
JL52 will depart Sydney at 9.15am for a daytime journey to Tokyo/Haneda, touching down almost 10 hours later at 5.05pm. The JL51 return leg carves an overnight path, leaving Tokyo at 7.20pm to arrive into Sydney at 7.10am the following day.
"Haneda will have a focus on travelers going to Japan, whereas Narita will act as a strategic connection hub for customers looking to travel throughout Asia," a spokesman for Japan Airlines told Executive Traveller.
Other new flights being added to Haneda's roster include Chicago, Dallas Fort Worth and Los Angeles, Helsinki, Moscow, Shanghai and Delhi.
JAL's Haneda shift comes as rival ANA plans to add a second daily flight between Sydney and Tokyo/Haneda, giving travellers a choice between daytime and overnight legs in both directions.

Haneda released 50 pairs of slots recently.
The pairs have been equally distributed between Japanese carriers (25 pairs) and foreign carriers (25 pairs) for services to the United States, China, Russia, Australia, India, Italy, Turkey, Finland and Scandinavia (which comprises Sweden, Denmark and Norway).
This is the allocation given to Japanese carriers:
All Nippon Airways (ANA) has obtained six pairs for the United States, two pairs for China, one pair for Russia, one pair for Australia, 0.5 pairs for India, one pair for Italy, one pair for Turkey, and one pair for Scandinavia.

Well that's slightly annoying. I had an onwards connection on QR from NRT. Have now had to move my SYD-NRT flight (which will update to HND in due time, no doubt) to an earlier day.
