Qantas adds Jetstar Japan codeshare flights

IN BRIEF | Qantas is adding more Jetstar Japan flights to its codeshare roster, making it easier for travellers to Tokyo to continue flying to other cities in Japan on a single ticket while also earning frequent flyer points and status credits.

From mid-January, Qantas customers will be able to travel on Jetstar Japan services from Narita to Sapporo, Fukuoka, Oita, Okinawa, Osaka, Takamatsu, Matsuyama, Kumamoto and Kagoshima.

The new codeshare services should be available for booking progressively from 28 November 2014 for travel from 15 January 2015.

Qantas has also announced plans to begin daily flights to Tokyo's Haneda Airport from August 2015.
