Potentially great news. As I understand it you have to book the most expensive economy seat to be able to upgrade to business with Qantas so wouldn't be that different to star alliance

I agree I have derived great value from the AFR subscription. Bit annoyed they can remove a benefit like that so near the beginning of my never year as well, though I realise that is just a coincidence.

In my experience the most likely leg is SYD/SING and the least likely is PER/LHR.Thats is based on the system prior to the recent changes when AFAIK there was no inventory for upgrades on QF9

HI,I am a recent amex platinum signup and there is an offer at the moment that is I transfer over 50,000 points to qantas ( I use QFF points all the time so I'm happy with that) then I get a $150 Qantas flight voucher.Is this a good deal or do better ones come along?
