Qantas, Virgin Australia allow gate-to-gate gadgets
Oct 03, 2013, 08:23 PMThere would be a lot of confusion when passengers are told that they can use their laptops and tablets, but not their phones. Since most accidents occur during takeoff and landing, people may be distracted by their electronic devices rather than the crew trying to do a safety demonstration...

Qantas Chauffeur Drive Sydney USA review
Oct 03, 2013, 08:20 PMI have only used complimentary chaffeur drive a few times, and it is very good. I didn't know that a complimentary wi-fi system was offered, that would make my journey wonderful. Last time I used this service, Brunel also contracts with Virgin Australia and Etihad.

Would you pay more to fly in a child-free cabin?
Oct 03, 2013, 08:17 PMI am very surprised that so many people want to pay more and get a seat in the child-free zone. As I mostly fly premium economy, I don't see this as a major issue for me. I have flown in economy before next to the baby bassinet seats from Sydney to Los Angeles, and I didn't find it a serious prob...

People who pay f...

Domestic luggage question.
Oct 01, 2013, 09:19 AMI would recommend purchasing a Saver fare, which gives you 1 x 23kg bag, for a smaller amount more. Then if you need any more bags, you are charged $30 per bag, up to 3 bags in total.

Domestic luggage question.
Oct 01, 2013, 09:17 AMYour second question:Virgin Australia's Saver Lite fare (similar to Jetstar's old JetSaver Light) doesn't include checked baggage and they won't allow you to purchase any further baggage until you arrive at the airport, which does mean larger fees.Virgin Australia moved to a per piece baggage sys...

Jul 14, 2013, 07:53 PMLeslie, I think this may be in reponse of the people who constantly upgrade from Flexi to Business Class on their flights. Also, I find Qantas' Flexible fares are at high prices as well lately.
