Virgin Australia increasing cost of flexi fares PER-MEL-PER & PER-SYD-PER

Has anybody else noticed that VA have increased the cost of flexi's b/w PER-MEL-PER & PER-SYD-PER from $319 and $329 to $399 and $439 respectively since the software upgrade 6 months ago?

What makes even less sense is that some of the extras ie. Meal and baggage are now standard and those tickets are still pretty much the same price as it was before. Personally - not very happy and i'm no longer booking flexis :-S

Leslie, I think this may be in reponse of the people who constantly upgrade from Flexi to Business Class on their flights. Also, I find Qantas' Flexible fares are at high prices as well lately.

Pretty frustrating was really enjoying buying them at 2-4-1 and upgrading using the complimentary upgrades. now i have two left and don't think i'll use them.
