The Atura Adelaide Airport Hotel is now open for business, offering travellers a place to perch while jetting through the South Australian capital.
The hotel is directly linked with both the domestic and international terminals, with guests able to walk straight from the hotel lobby to the check-in counters and arrival hall. The public areas, including eateries, are accessible to all travellers.
The large-scale lobby offers a sanctuary for travellers looking to escape the bustling terminal. Tall ceilings and large windows flood the room with natural light with communal tables, quiet zones and a pool table bringing visitors and hotel guests together.
Designed by architect Nic Graham, the stars of the show are 165 spacious and contemporary guest rooms, some with city views. For those who appreciate aviation, specially designated ‘Runway Rooms’ will also give unparalleled views of the airport runway.
Bedding is from EVENT dream beds, and rooms feature a multipurpose work zone with a lounge, desk and 49 inch LCD TV. Free WiFi is standard across the property, and access to the gym is complimentary for guests.
For the foodies, the Hangar Bar & Grill restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Authentic pizzas and tender rib-eye steaks rule the menu, while the open-plan bar provides a relaxed atmosphere for travellers to unwind before their journey. The Meeting Point Cafe also offers a place to socialise over a light meal.
Eight flexible function spaces cater for up to 320 guests at meetings and conferences. The convenient location of the hotel certainly makes it an option to consider for events that require many participants to fly in from interstate or overseas.

These hotels are designed for the traveller that comes in late, and departs early the next day..this is for both the international or the domestic connections. The emphasis is on a hassle free sleep. The size of the room is therefore less important than the comfort and size of the bed. The common lounge is the go to place for any social activities.
