Having visited Las Vegas for the first time recently, it is eye-wateringly expensive. I don't think Jetstar's audience would be willing to pay the accomodation and F&B prices there, and surely if Qantas had a free aircraft, there are a dozen places it could fly to more profitably than Vegas.
