I've noticed that since Velocity have reinstated SQ redemptions, you can now redeem the full amount of saver seats as implied on the SQ website - fantastic (previously it was always 1 or 2 less than available on the SQ site).
However, I've also noticed that they have disabled any redemptions departing or arriving in USA - this is a real shame. I called up and the agent couldnt see any availability at her end.

I'm not sure what you mean. I just did a dummy search on the Velocity website for SYD-LAX and the available options included SQ reward flights.
