Just seeking some advice. I am traveling in June from Hong Kong to Sydney on QF128 in First Class. Can people tell me what lounges I get access to and what are the suggestions to best spend some time? Thanks!

You are definitely eligible to use the QF lounge; I think you can access the CX business lounges as well.

Are you a QF FF with any oneworld status? or just flying QF in First class for the first time? If you don't have a Oneworld equivalent status, and flying QF, you will only be able to access the Qantas Lounge.
"Qantas Club members with Bronze or Silver Frequent Flyer status are unable to access oneworld alliance airline lounges with the exception of the American Airlines® lounges (Admirals Lounges only) which can be accessed as part of our partner airline agreement."

er, quite incorrect there, highflyer
Irrespective of the Frequent Flyer status, a passenger holding a QF First Class boarding pass is elibigle to use Cathay Pacific's First Class lounges in Singapore. And since the Qantas First Class Lounge is closed for renovation, I suspect that the Cathay F Lounge is exactly where he will be directed upon Check In. Of course he can also use the other Cathay lounges (The Wing - Business Section, The Cabin, The Bridge, The Pier - Business Section) and the Qantas Business Lounge.

As cathy pacific is a one world member you can use its first class lounge in Hong Kong ,the lounge is one of the best in the world,so go early and enjoy yourself befor the flight .the CX lounge is better than the QF!! Hope this helps

tjjen2: Flying first class on Qantas means you'll be eligible to access the Qantas and Cathay Pacific lounges at HK airport. By June next year Qantas will have its new HK lounge open – this is very handy to the gate which Qantas uses for its flights, and would be worth a visit – but personally, I'd allow an extra 10 minutes' stroll to check out Cathay Pacific's The Wing First Class lounge.

Emirates lounge is also in the mix, but a bit out of the way and probably not worth the effort.

As some have already confirmed, you will be able to use the CX First lounge in HK. I suggest going to the Wing lounge as this is the best equipped of the CX lounges but it is about a 10min walk to the gate so allow for this. Wing is very nice, on par with the Sydney QF First lounge. Note that QF check in may not be able to give you an invitation to any of the CX lounges but don't worry, you will be able to get in by presenting your boarding pass as we did when we were there 3 weeks ago. Enjoy.
