Can you please tell us where you're trying to go? I don't know your origin or your destination, so it's hard to answer you.

And what's the $150 for, anyway? 'Stretch' row, exit row, special premium economy upgrade...?

Sorry, I am looking at flying from Kuala Lumpur to Paris with Vietnam airlines or to Amsterdam from singapore with Emirates and the price difference between the two tickets is $133 including flights from Sydney as I am planning to fly AirsiaX to singapore for Emirates option or direct to Kuala Lumpur  for the Vietnam airlines alternative.

I just trying to get to a point in Europe on an extremely tight budget from there I will use Aegean points to get where I want to go.

Thank you

I'm a 6ft3 male and I wouldn't bother chasing extra leg room if your budget is tight, but  I'd go for the better connections, and a more even spread of the flight durations and the transit time (which is where you get to stretch out properly).

In this case, I would go with Emirates. If you can fly KUL-DXB-CDG or KUL-DXB-AMS for a cheap fare, do it.

(You could also look at flying MH KUL-CDG or KUL-AMS, actually - they have some good sale fares at times.)

The extra $150 given for Emirates is actually not a good price. The seats are only 17in wide, and quoting reader Michael, "nothing makes up for prolonged discomfort" (even a world-class entertainment system). Vietnam Airlines is much better 3-3-3 across.
