Considering a US trip, visiting LA (10 days), Vegas (5 days) and NYC (5 days) then potentially visit London (4 days). Ideally would love to earn Velocity points for my travel, but QF points are fine as well. What's going to be my best way - RTW ticket or multiple bookings?

RTW is usually the best way to go, though I'm not sure in this case.

Velocity, I dont believe offer RTW tickets.. But VA/Delta could be your options or even Virgin america. Last time I looked up a RTW I would not let me have multiple stop overs within the US.

But I'm sure someone with more experience, might give you a better answer.

Do RT on NZ  to LHR from Australia and stop over at LAX usually free on most all tickets.Do a US $75 RT fare on southwest to vegas.I may add a free stop over in AKL if you want it also available on most tickets.Forget about RTW tickets and the points ..bs.Save the bucks and get NZ points.
