QF 581 / 582 being downgraded to A330's instead of B747's in the coming months?

from approx 2nd week in May ..581/582 will be operated by A333's which have the 30 J/C skybed MKI and 267 Y/C.. the seatmap is available to view on QANTAS.COM under seatmaps AIRBUS A330-300

VH - OJD (the plane that currently does 581/582) is the last remaining 2 class 747 in the fleet, and is the next on the retirement list. There is a few other retiring shortly as well as QF 23/24 goes to A330 - 300 in June. Any idea how long the A330 - 300 will exist on the 581/582 rotation? It seems the A330-300s are in high demand atm with MEL - HKG and SYD - BKK both going A330, where previously they were 747 routes.
