Not angled flat like you might be used to though. On the Emirates 777, the seat and leg rest are a flat 180 degrees, while the backrest is angled slightly up. still not as good as the full lie flats, but more comfortable than the Skybed mk1 for instance
You're right. Its not uncomfortable. OK for a 7 - 9 hour flight (SIN, KUL, BKK) but I pity the fool who bought a Business class ticket from AU to DXB without realising it's this aircraft.
On the flip side, you do get a proper toiletary bag, one that doesn't look like it's an airline freebie (but then again you get the same bag on the A380).
