Hi all, a friend of mine is bronze QFF and has a classic reward to JFK and wants to change the dates. What is the deal with refunds or changes? I've never had to alter a classic reward. QF website is vague. Cheers.

Quite hard to do..... Your friend is going to lose a lot of points for nothing in the process, if QF have any Calssic seats still available on the new flight.

It will cost 5000 points and there will need to be seat(s) available on the desired dates.

If you talking about economy then it quite possible, though it will be penalty of 5000 points of so. If you talking about business then it almost impossible (seats very hard to get). However IMHO wasting points for economy not worth eve hassle.

The beauty of awards bookings is they are cheap to change or cancel, only a 5000 point penalty and no money lost. The downside is new award flights can be hard to find. One caveat is once the journey has started the return cannot be cancelled just moved so always book 2 one way fares rather than a return
