AA will start classifying their first class tickets with business class fare codes. That means QF frequent flyers will earn far fewer points and status credits when flying AA on a QF FF number. Used to be a great way to retain status.  

I'm a Platinum flying QF LAX to MEL. My upgrade to First request has been submitted by a Chairman's Lounge and P1 member. When will Qantas consider the request?

When will my QF upgrade be considered?

Uber definitely will pick you up from LAX but UberX will not. When you order the Uber the app will ask which terminal you're at and the driver will normally call you to ask for the door number. Driver normally takes 15 minutes to arrive after ordering. 

You will not get P1 without flying Qantas metal
