I've recently booked a J Class return ticket to HK during the QF Double status credit promotion. I have to now change the ticket to a week later, will i still receive double status credits if i change the dates now?

The T&Cs for this promotion are: "If you change or cancel your initial qualifying booking and/or travel is completed outside the promotional period, this bonus offer will not apply". Therefore, my interpretation is that you'd lose your Double SCs.

I changed one of my double status credit flights last week and the first double dip has already come through.
Keep in mind the period to complete the travel was through to next year...

I have got DSCs for flights I've changed too.
So long as you booked the flights during the qualifying period, booked QF operated and marketed flights (with some AA codeshare transcontinental exceptions) and change the flights to dates that are still within the qualifying period to fly you should be O.K.
The booking creation date is what is important.

As far as I am aware, provided you change the booking (rather than cancel and re-book) the original booking conditions remain. PHIL I read the T's & C's and as I was concerned about change clause I rang Qantas, the information provided by Qantas was that you could make changes so long as the booking was made in the booking window and you travel within the prescribed time double SC would be earned.
Perfect, thanks guys... i'm only changing it by 1 week, so it still falls within the time to travel period.
