Does Jetstar deserve the title of World's Worst Airline?

In feb, JQ cancelled my SYD - CNS - KIX flight and router me to SYD - MEL - NRT - KIX. The worst bit was, they offered me a SYD to MEL flight with 12hrs transit in Melbourne. No other options was given, and i ended up paying out of pocket for a QF flight that departs 9hrs later. 

I regularly fly BNE - MKY, both QF and JQ. Service on JQ matches QF similarly (maybe slightly better), but I do enjoy the slightly roomier experience and leather seats on JQ much better! If only they had the electronic bag tags and inclusive point earn like Qantas it would be quite a similar total experience.

How about Air Koryo? Well, compared to most other LCCs, Jetstar is okay. Anyway, as they say, you get what you pay for!

So far, so good on flights both in Australia and NZ. No different from like of Ryanair and Easyjet. Where they appear to let themselves down, is when things go wrong. Too many cancelled/delayed flights with customers treated poorly as a result. A QF gold card means nothing out of Napier, as no domestic lounge.

JQ never had any luck. SIN->SYD several times in Y and just terrible experience. From the Bintang/Singha/Chang singlet wearers returning from Bali/Phuket/etc to the “sorry sir whilst you paid extra $$ for the window seat we’re putting you in an aisle because a couple wanted to sit together” to the grubby seats to the shirty staff. That said I am flying ANA/United next month so my standards aren't that great ;)
