Anyone out there know how long the bonus QFF status credits for flights booked under this year's Double SC offer takes to get posted to ones account?

Not sure about this years offer, but when I used a similar offer in Feb 2016 the bonus status credits took about three weeks to hit my account. The standard SC's for that journey hit my account in the normal time, e.g. 2-3 days

What if your status run is dependent on getting the bonus credits within a 1-2 week period approaching your membership anniversary? Will Qantas maintain your platinum status if that is what your targeting?

It depends. "Up to six weeks" is the line given by Qantas, and you can't lodge a claim until after those 6 weeks.

Generally though, around 1 week is the usual turn around time, although sometimes it takes longer or happens quicker.

I recently received a 50% status credits offer - but the fine print stated the following:

"The Status Bonus is applied to the actual Qantas Points earned when travelling in the Economy cabin. For travel in premium cabins, the Status Bonus is applied to the Flexible Economy earn rate."

In other words: a flight SYD-LON in business (one way) would get you an extra 70 tier points (and not the business rate of 155, i.e. less than half which would would make the offer a less than 25% status bonus).  So much for the 50% status bonus when travelling in anything but economy!

I received one lot for BNE-PER two days after the flight, whilst the return leg is yet to be credited after 3 days...earlier in the year it was a bit slower...

I am still waiting after over a month. I rang and they said wait for six weeks and then call and they will do it manually, but they cannot touch it before then. I am ages away from anniversary so no big deal but an issue if it is close to the date

I'm currently waiting to be credited with a second helping after almost eight weeks.

This'll be the third time in four years I'll have had to make the call following a promotion.

Interesting mine went through in a couple of days. I was close to my anniversary date so not sure if that makes any difference.

One one trip it took one day.  The longest 'wait was three days for me - of five trips.
